Connecting Entrepreneurs and Investors to Foster Regional Growth
Golden Capital Network (GCN) is a non-profit organization that seeks to stimulate economic vitality through early stage private equity investment, connecting entrepreneurs, investors, service providers, and policymakers. Although originally focused on northern California, in recent years they have expanded to help other communities build their innovation economies from within using a grass-roots approach.
Navigation North has helped GCN with many of their web-based ventures over the last few years, from their Venture Communities and Business Ascent portals, to their current focus on emerging growth companies: GROWCalifornia. Entrepreneurs are provided a platform to showcase their companies and connect to potential investors. Investors can stay up-to-date on innovation sectors, companies they are interested in, and regional economic developments. GROWCalifornia builds unique support systems for each growth company. Resources, services and capital are synchronized with the needs of the participating companies, resources of the partner entities and the community.
